Located just a 5-minute walk to craft brews, farm-to-table restaurants, and the iconic Bridge of Lions in an amazing, walkable neighborhood, this home at 402 Zorayda is also located in the #1 school district in the state. Elegant yet comfortable in the same way a Georgia O’Keeffe painting is, this home is graced with lots of light and lovely wood floors. The big, big living area is highlighted with a fireplace surrounded by built-ins. Outside you’ll find big trees with plenty of shade, the trunks strong and substantial enough to string a hammock between. As an investment property it excels; short term rentals generate $1900 to $5000 a month depending on season, and the last long term renters paid $1800 a month. Short term renters say: It was perfect for a 4 day trip and can accommodate very well. The location was great. The neighborhood was quiet but very cute and an easy walk to downtown; The Zorayda house is lovely and spacious, located in the perfect area for exploring St. Augustine or hitting the beaches. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and the little side sun room is perfect for napping; Location was perfect for us. Close enough to downtown for a short walk over the bridge, or uber ride. Made it perfect to come home to a quiet nights rest so we could do it all over again the next day! Beautiful, quaint home in an even more beautiful city. Home was not damaged, made no insurance claims, and did not need repairs after Hurricane Matthew.
